Early this year Asinate Matavinaka traveled from Ravitaki in Kadavu for a scan at the CWM hospital.
She didn’t expect that baby Athaliah Rose was ready for her grand entrance into the world.
Since January, Athaliah Rose has been treated in hospital until they were given the green light this week for discharge.
Asinate found comfort at the Family Room in the last 3months getting the rest she needed, catching up with other mums and a place she called home while baby Athaliah was being attended to.
They now look forward to traveling back home and reuniting with their family especially Athaliah’s three siblings in Kadavu.
