Today was our first outing as Ronald McDonald House Fiji at the Fijian Drua rugby game in Suva!
To make it extra special, we invited 8year old Saimoni Lomani and his family to watch the game and to be given the ‘Drua Experience’. To top it off, brave Saimoni ran out the ball to the field before the two teams ran in! It was indeed an experience.
If you remembered, Saimoni was admitted at the CWM hospital for close to a year with his dad by his side before he was able to go home for a visit. Saimoni & his family lived in the island of Totoya in the Lau group.
Today, was an experience they’ll never forget and treasure as a family who’ve made a lot of sacrifices and faced hardships during Saimoni’s medical journey.
